This audio comes from the first "Songs for Today" concert/conversation in August 2018, the culmination of my work supported by the Vermont Folklife Center's Flanders Award for Traditional Vermont Music. Subsequent "V is the Valley" presentations build on the conversations that began at this exciting event.

Here are a couple of mp3 downloads from my August 2018 recording sessions with guitarist and sound engineer Clint Bierman. Recordings from those sessions, as well as songs plucked from live "Songs for Today" recordings, will comprise an album of selections from the Helen Hartness Flanders Ballad Collection to be released spring 2020.
